PURPOSE OF THE JOB

This role will report to the Training Supervisor/Manager and will be primarily tasked with supporting the full training cycle execution within the Global Business Services.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Executes training strategies to support organizational goals and ensures that training programs are aligned; with an emphasis on logistical and administrative tasks required for program success.

  • Gather and maintain a log of existing training documents, learning aids/tools used by all GBS departments as part of periodic TNA analysis.

  • Assist in the development/revision of training procedures, policies, and forms that establish guidelines for all training activities, in line with Quality standards.

  • Review employee training plans for completion status for each department and report any concerns to the Training Specialist/Sr Training Specialist to escalate to the appropriate Manager.

  • Maintain reports, records, and files to track employee training activities, including assessments/certifications. May calculate metrics.

  • Provide support for the development of training handouts, instructional materials, aids and manuals.

  • Conduct/facilitate new hire orientation sessions.

  • Agile document admin - maintain Training Team document/periodic review updates.

  • Metro admin - assign Metro read events to employees, run compliance reports, assign Metro ILT’s.

  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

EDUCATION AND COMPETENCIES REQUIRED

  • High School diploma

  • 1 year experience in Learning and Development with facilitation skills is desired.

  • Proficient in MS office with advanced skills in PowerPoint, Visio and Excel.

  • Able to work with minimal supervision.

  • Collaborator who thrives in delivering high-priority, high-level goals.
