Minimum qualifications:

  • Candidates will typically have 5 years of experience in program management.
  • Experience in information security, data privacy, standards, and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience working in Data Centers and in networking, hardware, technical troubleshooting, operating systems.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with building management or physical security systems.
  • Experience providing infrastructure solutions for high profile and demanding internal customers.
  • Experience or interest in security beyond networking (i.e., systems, physical, etc.).

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. You’re equally at home explaining your team’s analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers.

Using your extensive technical and leadership expertise, you manage projects of various size and scope, identifying future opportunities, improving processes and driving the technical directions of your programs.

Google’s Data Center Compliance, Safety, and Risk Management (CSRM) team is a dedicated organization chartered to deliver and operate the world’s safest and most secure technical infrastructure through a comprehensive compliance and risk management program. CSRM consists of industry leading professionals who leverage advanced security systems, dedicated guarding forces, safety professionals, risk management, and compliance framework programs to support the entirety of Google Data Centers. Their measured approach allows Google Cloud to reach a broader audience and inspires trust in their users.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the efforts with the partner teams for review and approval of security designs and specifications to ensure compliance to Google’s standards.
  • Improve maturity and efficiency of security systems design, project execution processes, technical specifications, and enable the Technical Operations team to protect the people and assets of Google TI through technology.
  • Collaborate with the partner team for implementation of security systems at Google’s Technical Infrastructure facilities across the region, exploring opportunities for increasing efficiencies and improving the quality.
  • Lead cross-functional teams and multiple simultaneous projects with competing priorities and varying dependencies.
  • Deliver the security systems programs with the peer organization to ensure alignment of design and specifications meet the overall mission of the organization. Collaborate with stakeholders across the region, and be the trusted partner for the teams for matters pertaining to security systems.
