We wish to recruit Structured Finance and/or Derivatives Lawyers at all levels including associate/senior associate to join our highly regarded Financial Services Team.

Mason Hayes & Curran LLP is a leading Irish law firm based in Dublin with offices in San Francisco, New York and London. We are a business law firm with extensive knowledge and experience in the following sectors: Energy; Technology; Financial Services, Built Environment and Healthcare & Life Sciences.

We wish to recruit Structured Finance and/or Derivatives Lawyers at all levels including associate/senior associate to join our highly regarded Financial Services Team. This is an excellent opportunity for ambitious candidates to work in a respected firm with an enviable client base.

Our SF/Derivatives team assists sponsors and originators, issuers, lead managers and arrangers, trustees and agents on structured finance and securitisation transactions. The team includes Irish and English qualified lawyers, who have national and international private practice and inhouse experience. They have worked for, and within, the financial institutions that structure, originate and arrange these transactions.

Candidate Requirements

Candidates should have experience in any of the following areas:

  • Drafting and negotiating ISDA (hedging/derivatives) documentation, in the context of structured finance and loan transactions

  • Advising on and managing transactions relating to the issuance of listed and unlisted debt securities

  • Drafting and negotiation of debt issuance documentation e.g. trust deeds, terms and conditions, agency agreement, placing agreement (for standalone issuances and programmes)

  • Working with clients on the review, drafting and compiling of prospectuses and other offer documents

  • Interacting with EU and UK stock exchanges in connection with the listing and admission to trading of debt securities

A lawyer with good quality banking experience and an interest in migrating over to structured finance and/or derivatives work, will also be considered.
