The Role

Reporting to the Director of Global Events, the Event Coordinator will be responsible for the planning and execution of marketing campaigns that support both local and global branding and lead generation initiatives. This role will have a heavy focus on event management and execution, supporting the International Business Unit.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with Business Unit marketers, specifically Field Marketers, to define and execute event goals, objectives and specific implementation plans
  • Maintain a calendar of activities and implement a system that enables and anticipates long-term planning and effective management across a variety of event campaign types (virtual, tradeshows, conferences, Diligent-led events).
  • Work with vendors, e.g. exhibitor services, printers, etc., to ensure timely, cost-effective execution of all activities.
  • Determine fiscal requirements, prepare budgetary recommendations and manage regional campaign budgets on an on-going basis.
  • Coordinate logistics and deliverables from start to finish for events including tradeshows, conferences and seminars. Logistics can include: booking booth and meeting space, coordinating virtual booths, organizing catering, creating registration badges, managing housing, packing and shipping exhibition material, managing event communications.
  • Partner with the Business Unit to create and localize event marketing collateral, including brochures, booth materials, and event communications as it relates to various campaigns.
  • Travel to and support onsite execution and management of key activities, including show set-up and take-down.
  • Coordinate event follow up with the Business Unit marketers to track ROI and overall event effectiveness.
  • Undertake detailed, ongoing analysis of marketing campaigns to ensure targets are met.
  • Coordinate staff air, hotel and ground travel arrangements as needed.

What You’ll Need

  • 2-3 years of experience in event planning and/or B2B marketing necessary.
  • Experience executing strategic virtual events.
  • Bilingual a plus
  • Creative thinker, but highly organized, detail-oriented and data-driven.
  • Strong planning and project management skills with the ability to work well under pressure, as well as independently.
  • Motivated, with the ability to effectively set priorities, handle multiple projects and follow-through on deadlines with minimal supervision in a face-paced environment.
  • Excellent collaboration skills to coordinate closely with multiple teams that are geographically dispersed.
  • Ability to travel internationally is required.
