Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of equivalent experience in leading teams in international matrix organisations
Track record in quality, compliance, regulatory affairs, software development or technical project management in an international environment
Expert knowledge of at least of one the following areas: technical project management, software development, machine learning, product compliance
Ability to work well in a matrix structure and a dynamic corporate culture
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail
Able to work with technical and non-technical business owners

The Product Compliance team is looking for a smart, energetic, hard-working, and creative senior Risk Manager to join our team. The successful candidate shows excellent judgment and instincts in decision making and proactively and continually improves their level of knowledge about Amazon’s business, its platform, and relevant technologies. This is an exciting and challenging position that will lead on regulatory classification and associated machine learning technology.

We are looking for talented Senior Risk Manager to implement regulatory technology and develop classification programs that serve as backbone of the EMEA product safety and compliance programs .Your main role is to support the technical solution for regulatory classification and risk identification. You will work directly with business leadership, PARS tech teams, legal, and a variety of other internal partners. You will act as the single point of contact for all automation associated with regulatory classification

Key job responsibilities

Create roadmap for all regulatory classification programs and technology for EMEA Product Safety and Compliance
Work with Amazon’s PARS tech teams to execute strategy and seek further automation opportunities for regulatory classification
Drive scalable safety and compliance solutions by using technology

  • Retail industry or FMCG experience in highly regulated industry
  • Experience with project management methodologies (Prince2,…)
  • Experience leveraging technology to drive process improvements
  • Ability to demonstrate sound judgment even in ambiguous situations
