Location: Tralee, Co.Kerry. Experience:

MWP requires an Administrative Assistant to support the current Admin team. The position may suit a recently qualified person who is motivated, practical and adaptable and who wishes to work in a progressive and innovative engineering and environmental consultancy.

The skills/attributes required:

  • High level of typing skills – speed and accuracy
  • The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Effective time-management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – providing a friendly, efficient and professional first point of contact for clients and staff alike
  • Be a good team player
  • Excellent English written and verbal skills
  • High level of computer literacy in Microsoft Outlook and Office suite (including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat/Foxit PDF editing.
  • Other software deemed highly advantageous – Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, MS Project and MS Access.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Production of all types of reports, letters, minutes and presentations etc. to the highest standard.
  • Screening and redirecting telephone calls and taking detailed messages, and reception cover when required.
  • Formatting of documents produced by others to company guidelines and handling large quantities of information, often working within tight deadlines.
  • Creating and maintaining templates.
  • Monthly project-related data entry.
  • General correspondence for team members.
  • Organising and storing paperwork, documents and electronic information.
  • Photocopying and printing various documents.
  • Other general administrative duties as required.
