Our client based in Kilkenny city are currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Technician to join their team on a Hybrid basis ( 2 to 3 days from home / flexible). Reporting directly to the off site Financial Controller you will have the following duties:


  • Debtors & Creditors Ledger
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Managing supplier invoicing process
  • Managing weekly cashflow reports
  • Acting as a point of contact for all supplier queries
  • Accounts payable.
  • Account reconciliation
  • Accounts administration support through Surf Accounts
  • Processing bank payments and reconciliations.
  • GL posting and journals.
  • Revenue returns
  • Month end support for the Financial Controller
  • Reporting weekly and monthly data and information across the team as directed by Management.
  • Administration procedures: Ensure the Administration area is supported by well documented procedures and review existing procedures regularly and update as necessary.
  • Assisting other members of the team as necessary and participating in various projects as required.

Key Skills /Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years industry experience in an Accounts role.
  • Accounting Technician / PQ Accountant
  • High level proficiency in the MS Office Suite required.
  • Proven organisation and time management skills / Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Good analytical skills and ability with strong attention to detail.
  • Data processing and accuracy, handle confidential information professionally.
  • Proficient verbal, written, presentation and communication skills in English (fluent)
  • Have the ability to meet weekly, monthly and quarterly deadlines
  • Have excellent communication skills
